COMPASSIONATE INSIGHT
To solve this injustice of Gender inequality faced by rural women in decision making powers of families, we will address the root cause Financial dependence by Generating sustainable livelihoods through mushroom production.
GOALS
Provide Mushroom cultivation training to 10 unemployed women in the locality
Create a feasibility report for Mushroom production in Kaniyambetta Panchayath
Improve the income of participants in 3 months from the program end
Establish Entrepreneurial skills in women
Build a network of self-sufficient women to empower others
KEY STEPS
1. Conduct a Before test to know the present condition of the women
2. Recruit an experienced resource person for Mushroom cultivation training
3. Implement a Mushroom house in an existing building in RASTA
4. Conduct training programme ( irregular days according to mushroom growth)
5. sales and income generation
6. Create & present Analysis report of the entire program
7. Conduct After test to know the improvement
8. Guidance for future entrepreneurs on a need basis
